Walk in Love

Her name, her pose, and a line she lives by.

Pyrography on bamboo, hand tinted, with lettering · Jah Russ

She brought the words: walk in love, from Ephesians 5:2. The halo behind her was her idea too, and it ended up holding the whole piece together.

These are my favorite commissions, when someone comes with something they already live by and I get to put it in wood. Burned on bamboo and hand tinted.
